Let's explore these real geodes from Morocco to discover how the stones were formed! The small cavities contain beautiful crystals that will delight children of all ages. These geodes are composed mainly of quartz and microcrystalline agate. They form from gas bubbles which cool and become hard. The interior is hollow with crystals formed when minerals and gases cool.
How to use
Cover the geode with a fairly thick cloth so that it is completely covered. Sit on a solid surface. Using a hammer, give the geode one or more gentle blows until it cracks.
