Cristal du Lac offers you pearl oysters each containing a pearl of various colors, sizes, shapes and prices that will seduce you with their beauty. Once you have extracted your pearl, select your setting and we will create your jewel on the spot.

A pearl oyster shucker opens a pearl oyster in front of you and guides you through the discovery of the pearl inside, sharing their knowledge of pearl farming along the way. You leave with your pearl and can have it set in jewelry on site.
Yes, every oyster definitely contains a pearl. You choose the type of oyster, but the pearl's color remains a surprise—that's part of the fun! The oyster shucker opens the oyster for you and explains the process.
Pearl extraction is offered at the Métabetchouan–Lac-à-la-Croix Mineral Activity Centre, where the selection is the widest and the artisan is present. It is also offered at our Jonquière store (3368, rue de l'Énergie, G7X 0J6), on a smaller scale.
From 10 to 50 minutes, depending on whether or not you are having a piece of jewelry fitted.

Pearl oysters are available starting at $18 (before taxes), à la carte or as a combo. You choose the type of oyster on site.
Yes. Jewelry mounting is offered as an extra (the jewelry itself is included in this extra charge). You are free to simply take your pearl home with you, or have it mounted on-site.
